Midfielder Alexander Song has joined Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

Song has made a total 15 first team appearances during his time at the Club, recently scored his first senior goal for Arsenal in the 6-3 Carling Cup victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Most of Alex’s early appearances for the Club came in the Reserve League and he also featured in last season’s FA Youth Cup, scoring his first goal in an Arsenal shirt in that competition.

Alex has made six first team appearances this season, including being involved the first team squad on five occasions during this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign.

Everyone at Arsenal would like to wish Alex the best of luck during his time with the Addicks.
