Just one year after joining the club, 22-year-old Portuguese player Amaury Bischoff has been released by Arsenal. Arsene Wenger had signed him from Werder Bremen, calling it a ‘massive gamble on talent.’ It seems Wenger and Arsenal lost the gamble and Bischoff will be shipped off this season. Bischoff made just one league, one FA Cup and two League Cup appearances for the club last season. Also moving out this season will be James Dunne, Rui Fonte, Abu Ogogo, Paul Rodgers, Rene Steer, Vincent van den Berg and Anton Blackwood.
