Kolo Toure has signed a four-year deal with Manchester City for a fee close to £ 16 millon. The Ivory Coast defender, who played for the Gunners for seven seasons, became the second Arsenal player to join Mark Hughes’ side after Emmanuel Adebayor. Toure was the last of the ‘Invincibles’ and his departure has brought an end to an era. The 28-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Ivorian club Asec Mimosas in 2002 for £ 500,000, played 326 games for the club and was part of the 2003-04 invincibles. He also won the 2003 and 2005 FA Cup with Arsenal.
