Senderos Sold To Everton

Philippe Senderos has been sold to Premiership rivals Everton for an amount thought to be close to £ 6 million. Although there has been no official confirmation from either of the two clubs, it is understood that the Swiss international will link up with his new club once the transfer of Joleon Lescott from Everton to Manchester City is completed. Mark Hughes has admitted his interest in the Everton defender and is close to making his third bid for him. With Senderos’ departure, Arsenal may find it necessary to buy a defender and a defensive midfielder before the transfer window closes.
